Blackbridge and my work experience.

Hello! My name is Tom Colgan and I recently did a week’s work experience at Blackbridge. They asked me to write about what I learnt on their blog and here it is. During my time at Blackbridge I enjoyed a lot of things and like the idea of design. Whilst I was working with Blackbridge I did various different tasks including research, and I learned how to use the design tools on the Apple Macs.
What I found enjoyable about the time I was there was how it was never too intense and it was hardly ever silent, which shows that it is a team working in tandem with each other.
I also found the task of trying to looking at a clients’ website to make it more appealing for people to go and work there. Basically what I did was research what was wrong with the website and tell the team what I thought was needed to make it more enticing and exciting. They are looking for graduates and though I am doing my A levels, now, I would think about applying when I leave university. It sounded good and it was easy to fill in the form to find out more. This was not the case with the other competitors. Even though I was working with the people from Blackbridge who do this as a job, I’d like to think that I helped the client employ more graduates.
I would definitely recommend Blackbridge to people as I found it interesting and enjoyable. I might even want to work there in the future.
